This one-day conference explores writing centre best practices and next practices. Topics will include academic writing instruction in classrooms and tutorials, academic integrity, and technology in writing support. Click here for the conference calendar.
The conference is a collaboration between the Canadian Writing Centres Association and the University of Victoria, with support from Camosun College, Royal Roads University, and Vancouver Island University.
Keynote speakers, Dr. Terese Thonus (University of Kansas) and Dr. Rebecca Day Babcock (University of Texas), will present from their recent publication, Researching the Writing Centre: Towards an Evidence-Based Practice (2012).

Conference fees
Professionals $75.00 (Pre-conference registration); $90.00 at the door
Students: $65.00
Includes conference fee, pre-conference events, lunch and refreshments, as well as a one-year CWCA/ACCR membership
