The Faculty of Arts and Science at the University of Toronto has recently posted two contractually limited term appointment: one in the field of English Language Learning programming and the other in the field of Writing Instruction. One position starts this July; the other starts this May.

1. The Dean’s Office in the Faculty of Arts & Science (St. George campus) invites applications for a two-year contractually-limited term appointment in the area of English Language Learning programming. The appointment will be at the rank of Assistant Professor, Teaching Stream and will commence on July 1, 2017, ending June 30, 2019 (with the possibility of a one-year renewal).A description of the position, the required qualifications, and application procedure can be found here.

2. The Dean’s Office in the Faculty of Arts & Science (St. George campus) invites applications for a 14-month contractually-limited term appointment in the area of writing instruction. The appointment will be at the rank of Assistant Professor, Teaching Stream and will commence on May 1, 2017, ending June 30, 2018. The successful candidate will lead and administer WIT (Writing Instruction for TAs), a Faculty-wide initiative in support of undergraduate writing instruction in the Faculty of Arts & Science. The successful candidate will report to the Vice-Dean, Teaching and Learning, in the Faculty of Arts & Science.
