Peabody College at Vanderbilt University will host the Second Language Research Forum (SLRF) in Nashville, TN, October 23-25, 2020. This is one of the premier conferences on second language acquisition and provides a venue for established scholars, graduate students, teachers, and teacher educators to present work on a wide variety of theoretical and empirical issues in the field, and practitioner-oriented resources for communicative, equitable, and transformative language instruction. The 2020 conference theme is Expanding Networks: Theory, Research, and Practice in Second Language Development. The call for proposals is now open; submissions are welcome in, but need not be limited to, the following areas of research: cognitive networks, social networks, instructional networks, and theoretical and methodological networks. For more information, please see the official SLRF conference page.
